Rangatira Trophy & Christiania Derby 2025

Christiania Ski Club and Rangatira Alpine Sports Club have joined forces. Both the Rangatira Trophy (for the fastest club on the mountain) and the traditional Christiania Derby Team Shields will be on offer, as well as individual awards. 

Open to all members of the 50-odd ski clubs on Ruapehu. Race as individual and/or part of a team. The event is competitive, but focused on amateur skiing and fun, with a prizegiving party to conclude a great day on the mountain.

Schedule of Events

Friday 5 Sept

7:00 – 9:00pm: Bib collection at Rangatira (for paid registrations only).

Saturday 6 Sept

8:30am: Deadline for late (online) registrations and payments.
9:00am: Late bib handout at Knoll Ridge Café.
10:00am: Racing starts.
6:30pm: Prize giving (location TBC)
