A race organised by Tongariro Ski Club. A giant slalom race for all skiers/snowboarders under 18. While we have a competitive element, we have a special category for any too timid to ski the full course, to have a parent ski alongside them.
For the truly competitive, medals are awarded in six age groups, male and female, and a special award for the fastest girl and boy overall presented at the after race party at Tongariro Ski Club.
