Mountain clean up

This King’s Birthday weekend, Ruapehu Mountain Clubs Association (RMCA) is hosting a mountain clean up to show our support for the Department of Conservation and Iwi.  This is a great opportunity to give back, show our commitment to kaitiakitanga, and help care for the alpine environment we’re privileged to enjoy. 

DOC are currently working on the 2026 Rent Review for all clubs. A proposal for clubs will be emailed directly to clubs in late April. The mountain clean up demonstrates to DOC and Iwi, our desire to collaborate and work towards a sustainable future.

Be part of this positive, hands-on effort to keep our maunga pristine.

• Season Pass Holders – Knoll Ridge Café area and Delta area
• Non Season Pass Holders - Rock Garden, Tenants Valley, Top of the Bruce
• Low Visibility / Snow Option - clean up from the Top of the Bruce down to carpark 5.

Refreshments will be provided by the RMCA after the cleanup.
